Step 1: Prep & Section
Start with damp hair. For the best results and extra hydration, ensure you have already applied the Featherlight Styling Cream as your base layer. Divide your hair into manageable sections.

Step 2: Rake
Apply a nickel sized amount of gel to one section. Using your fingers like a comb, "rake" the product through from the roots all the way to the ends to ensure even coverage.

Step 3: Shake
Hold the very ends of the hair in that section and give it a firm shake. This movement encourages your natural curl pattern to spring back and form. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until all sections are done.

Step 4: Dry (Set the Cast)
Allow your hair to air dry or use a blow-dryer with a diffuser to speed up the process. Do not touch your hair while it dries; this allows a "gel cast" (a protective crunchy layer) to form, which prevents frizz.

Step 5: Break the Cast
Once your hair is 100% dry, apply a few drops of Mongongo Oil to your palms. Gently scrunch your hair to "break the cast." This removes the crunch, leaving you with soft, shiny, and defined curls.
